WE ACT - Justice40 Tour
WE ACT for Environmental Justice hired me to join them, South Bronx Unite and environmental change-makers on a tour of Northern Manhattan and the South Bronx. Since the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was passed in the summer of 2022, President Biden promised that 40% of the money from the historic climate bill would specifically be given to low-income communities and communities of color. This Justice40 tour aimed to show folks who create change at the city, state and federal level that many of the places (and people) that could benefit from those funds are right here in New York City.
