My name is Nicole (she/her) and I’m a photographer based in New York City. My career first skyrocketed when I covered Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign as my thesis project at The School of Visual Arts. Since then, my work has remained deeply rooted in storytelling… from covering progressive movements, to capturing day-to-day moments in my hometown of Syracuse. I always aim to tell stories in a way that’s accessible and immersive, so folks can feel like they were right there with me when I took each photo.
Currently, I’m a contributing photographer with Redux Pictures. I mainly photograph people, causes and organizations that I personally support/am interested in. My campaign experience includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Felicia Singh, Tiffany Cabán and Ifeoma Ike. My most exciting moment in the field was working all-access at Bernie Sanders’ presidential rally in Queens with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Fun/random stuff: I’m passionate about bisexual representation & expressing the importance of better pay & self-care for creatives. In my spare time, I enjoy eating pasta and watching Naruto, New Girl and Charmed. Also, the Boruto manga is extremely underrated (Two Blue Vortex readers understand)!
